Day 1
Arrival in Costa Rica - Welcome to San José!
Welcome to San José! After your arrival at San José International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and provided with your travel documents. You will have the opportunity to clarify any questions before being taken to the nearby hotel. There you can check into your room and recover from the journey.
Day 1 - 3
First Class Hotel Grano de Oro
The first class Hotel Grano de Oro in Costa Rica is centrally located in San José and combines historical charm with modern comfort. It offers luxurious amenities such as a gourmet restaurant, a spa and a rooftop terrace with whirlpool.
Day 2
Golf Valle del Sol
After breakfast, pick up your rental car at the hotel (a valid credit card and your national driver's license are required) and drive to the Valle del Sol golf course on the border of the provinces of San José and Alajuela. The 18-hole course (par 71) offers a sporting challenge with narrow fairways, dense vegetation and several stream crossings. The magnificent views of the mountains of the Central Valley and the diverse birdlife make for relaxing moments.
Day 3
Drive to San Gerardo de Dota
After breakfast, the journey takes you over the Cerro de la Muerte, the highest point of the Panamerican Highway in Costa Rica, to the cloud forest region around San Gerardo de Dota. This area is famous for its rich birdlife, especially for the colorful quetzal, which was already revered by the Mayas. After your arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the hotel's nature trails and enjoy the tranquillity of the forest.
Day 3 - 5

Day 5
Drive to Uvita
Today you leave the tranquil mountain paradise and make your way to the Pacific coast. On the way, you will experience impressive changes in the landscape - the climate becomes noticeably warmer and more humid, the vegetation increasingly tropical. The differences between the cool mountain region around San Gerardo de Dota and the coastal towns of Dominical or Uvita are clearly noticeable. After your arrival, you have the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5 - 7

Day 7
Drive to Playa Herradura
Today you drive north along the Pacific coast and reach Quepos and the Manuel Antonio National Park after about an hour. Beautiful beaches and hiking trails invite you to take a walk, where you may be lucky enough to see animals such as monkeys, sloths or coatis. Then continue to your hotel in Playa Herradura near Jacó.
Day 7 - 9
Luxury Class Hotel Los Sueños Marriott
Los Sueños Marriott in Costa Rica, nestled in the picturesque Herradura region, impresses with its tropical backdrop and luxurious amenities. Day 8
Golf La Iguana
After breakfast, drive to La Iguana Golf Course on the central Pacific coast. The 18-hole course (par 72) is located in the middle of the rainforest with a view of the ocean and is part of the exclusive Los Sueños Resort. Wide fairways, narrow, tree-lined holes and challenging greens make for a varied game. With a bit of luck, monkeys, macaws or coatis will accompany your round. In the afternoon, you have time at leisure - ideal for a visit to Carara National Park, a trip to Jacó or relaxing hours by the pool or on the beach.
Day 9
Drive to La Fortuna
The morning is at your leisure - enjoy the well-tended gardens and the spacious pool area of your hotel once again. Around midday, continue your journey north. A worthwhile stopover is the bridge over the Río Tárcoles, where numerous crocodiles can often be seen in the estuary. You then continue to La Fortuna. On a clear day, the imposing Arenal volcano can be seen from afar. In the evening, you can visit one of the many hot springs in the region.
Day 9 - 11
First Class Hotel Amor Arenal
The Hotel Amor Arenal is picturesquely located on the edge of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica and offers luxurious casitas with breathtaking views in the middle of the jungle. Today you have the day at leisure. We recommend a guided tour of Arenal Vida Campesina, where you will learn about local crops, prepare fresh tortillas and grind sugar cane. At the end, a traditional lunch made from organic ingredients and cooked in a wood-fired oven awaits you. Other activities such as suspension bridges, chocolate and waterfall tours, horse riding or canopy tours can be booked directly at the hotel reception.
Day 11
Drive to Tamarindo
The morning is at your disposal for an optional activity or to relax by the pool. You then drive back to the Pan-American Highway and on to the northern Pacific coast. After checking into your hotel in Tamarindo, you have the rest of the day at leisure - ideal for a walk along the extensive, beautiful beach.
Day 11 - 13
First Class Hotel Capitan Suizo
Hotel Capitan Suizo is picturesquely located on the tranquil coast of Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Surrounded by lush nature, it offers luxurious amenities such as an outdoor pool, a spa and an exquisite restaurant. Guests can drive to nearby golf courses in minutes and enjoy a variety of recreational activities in the immediate area.
Day 12
Golf Hacienda Pinilla
After breakfast, drive to Hacienda Pinilla to enjoy another round of golf. The 18-hole course (par 72), designed by Mike Young, impresses with wide fairways, tropical vegetation and spectacular views of the Pacific. The wind conditions are particularly challenging - especially between December and March. A highlight: a green directly on the beach that requires precise play against the surf.
Day 13
Golf Reserva Conchal
Today you drive to Conchal, about 20 minutes north of Tamarindo, to the Reserva Conchal golf course. The 18-hole course (par 71) by Robert Trent Jones II offers great views of the Pacific and jungle as well as challenges from water hazards and wind. During the round you can observe monkeys, coatis and exotic birds. After the game, head to the Hotel El Mangroove on Playa Panama
Day 13 - 15
First Class Hotel El Mangroove
Hotel El Mangroove in Costa Rica is idyllically located on the Gulf of Papagayo, surrounded by lush tropical forest and direct access to the beach. Day 15
Departure - end of the trip
After breakfast, you will return to San José. There you will drop off your rental car at the airport and spend your last night either at the airport hotel or nearby.
